yeah im sure alot of people ask this (i know i have before) and get flamed but whatever.

so ive recently took 2 weeks off of WoW out of bordom due to running the same heroics over and over and OVER again.my main (smann) still has like 5-6 pieces of the emblem gear to go,and i really only got 1 piece of the gear for stevoh.but i cannot for the life of me get the motivation to log on and do any heroics or let alone anything in game anymore.hence why i took 2 weeks off.

i logged in the other day and my guild was asking why i had been gone and i told them im bored.2 week break and i still dont ever want to log in.i tried leveling one of my 60 alts and couldnt get more then half a lvl and i forced myself for that.thought maybe i would work on my lvl 20 to catch it up to my gf to play with her...and i can get a lvl with him easily but then instantly log off (not to mention she plays more then i do right now so it would be a constant catch up).thought bout making a mage since i kinda wanted to try one and never got one past 17...but lvling alone SUUUUUUUCKS.

and im a carebear so pvp doesnt interest me none and the guild im in i used to raid with on my days off but even that got boring.i play on a rp server and i really enjoy rp...and with emblem gear being just good enough i could quit my guild since i dont really talk to anyone or have any friends in it and still gear up since heroics are puggable (least on my server)

so my question is do i quit? or keep taking a break (which wow and work and spend time with my gf was all i did so without wow all i do is work and try to spend time with her but shes having family probs so its mainly...work lol)? or do i try to find a heavy rp guild and see if i like that before i do anything?

I was kinda in a similar boat. My hunter was already decently geared, and i was burned out on raiding to keep going through ulduar/toc. Then got burned out on doing heroics after using that to catch my hunters gear up without raiding anymore lol. Then didn't want to gear my other lvl 80 because i was completly burned out on endgame at that point besides pvp. So i quit my raiding guilds because they were *****in at me to raid with them, since i was like there best dpser.

For me what got be back into the game was playing on the ptr using a premade warlock and druid. The classes were just so much fun in pvp for me, that it got me back into leveling alts through pvp.

I would say try to get into a roleplay guild if thats what floats your boat right now. Or maybe try rolling a new toon on a different type server/ alliance [?
Lower levels will always be boring but you can always find a nice guild , or even try leveling thro bg's to break the monotony.

Or maybe if nothing is fun anymore, your just completely burned out.In that case, just take a break from wow for a couple months until you actually want to play, if ever. There's a lot of pretty cool mmo's coming out at the moment that you could catch at the early stages. If by the time i get my druid and warlock to lvl 80, i'm still burned out on endgame, that's probably what i'm gona do.

I just log on for the Brewfest stuff right now.

Then I'm going to take a break until Halloween shit rolls around do that and then I'll probably be gone til Christmas lol.

I got sick of running heroics after I got enough shit for my sigil.

i'll say app to a good guild and do the real raid no like naxx or ulduar and you play a pally/dk so idk why you don;t like pvp when they are so OP

i said i got tired of raiding too.and most of the QQ of people saying pallies and dks are op are people who just suck and dont know how to kill them (i suck at pvp too ill admit hence why i dont do it).i guess i might just try to make a mage like i wanted and try it out even though i really hate casters.make him then get into a heavy rp guild and see if anything changes.if so ill move my mains to the guild and go from there.

mage are really good in my opinion just go frost and blizzard monster down so easy to level one and a fire mage can do alot of damage in raids

yeah something i do before i start to play a class is i read up all i can about them such as builds,rotations,etc and find out what stats to stack.i look at wowhead daily just to keep up with some the classes i play and whatnot.


*edit* how are rogues? they seem fun and that and wars are the only 2 melee classes i havent played past 10-20...and i wont play my war.my gf had a 34 one but that was before 3.0 and said she was bored of it...but she likes casters so *shrugs*.mines only like 13 right now but if it gets more fun ill try him.

If you like seeing big numbers, mages can be fun. Although i kinda got bored with there rotation. And of course ppl pay you for ports, seems like an awsome perk.

If you like mellee classes though, maybe you should roll a rogue. The class is really fun, with there poison and what not.Great dps and even if your not great at pvp, it's a definite plus being a rogue. Not to say there op, but the class is just built very well for pvp.

The ptr for 3.3 is probably coming out soon, considering all the info there releasing on 3.3 now, so you can give some of the classes a test drive at 80. -edit- if they decide to have premades
