Here's my point of view when it comes to people that happily label as "addictions": does the activity keep you from being functional or being happy? If so, there might be an issue.
Say, is masturbating keeping you from doing other important stuff, like, do you set aside compromises because you have the URGE to masturbate? If you are in a relationship, would you rather masturbate than have sex with your partner? If so, the issue might not be masturbation, but communication issues between the couple. So, if masturbation isn't affecting you negatively on any aspect of your life, I would say fap away. |
