Okay, so yesterday I try to log on my wow account management page after a long time. I haven't played in like 5 months. I couldn't log in. My username and pass I always use didnt work. I then try to change my pass using my email and stuff, and it says my emails incorrect. so im try to log onto my email and my pass is wrong too. So i think some on hacked it. I emailed the account management and I still need to wait for there response. I'm wondering if I can still get my account back. I've kept all my keys for all 3 xpacs and all of my keys for every wow game card I bought.

Wait expired? Can this even happen? Has anyone been through this experience. What information do you need to present to get your account back?

I really don't think accounts expire like that. I mean i remember a trial account i made like 2 years ago to post for help with because my normal account wasnt working, still was there after all that time. So i really don't think your account would expire after 5 months.

It sounds like maybe you got hacked. You password is changed, and your email was changed. So i think someone got your password. If you have all that information, i'm pretty sure you can call customer service and get it back that way. Scan your computer for virus's first or if they do get your account back, it could be snatched up again.

Thanks alot for the reply, Ill call them monday and see if I can get it back. Im scanning for viruses/keyloggers now. I also checked the armory and saw that my main character has been active. So yea it did get hacked and the dumbass put game time on it.

Well, if you happen to get it back, which I hope you do since no-one deserves to be hacked and used like that.. look at the bright side if you do get it back.. the idiot got you some free gametime. :P

If you have all the original cd-keys etc you'll be fine, they'll recall the account, I suggest making a new email to handle account or at least changing the passwords on previous email, be sure to do a full scan of pc.

Just got it back. Dude put a month free on my account, and has it recurring, hopefully he wont cancel rofl.
