In warhammer online for example from lvl 1 the second you login you can join a scenario queue and start pvping. in aion you have to lvl all the way to lvl 25 to pvp. and the abyss is just plain boring imo.

And i cant stand the whole flying thingy. its nearly impossible to balance the classes with the variable of flight.

If you guys are enjoying it, its great. but don't say its my mentality i enjoy lots of games, aion just isn't one of them. and it was definitely not worth 50 bucks

I'm actually pretty sure the EU/us version of the game will fail just as bad as War did. in a couple of months the population will fall drastically.

After having some thoughts, I have 80% decided to cancel my sub.

1. I hate empty lands with no mobs.

2. My server only has 1 channel.

3. Weekend crowds is ridiculous, people are ksing each other like nothing.

4. Gold trading is getting out of hand, low lvl stuff (below 20) is already hitting a few hundred k mark.

5. I don't see any GMs in game going around banning people. In fact, after the last massive ban wave via a lousy script, more bot farmers with almost the same names are back at their hunting grounds.

The question was "Do you still play aion" so far 50% voted no. that means roughly 50% has already canceled their subscription.

Now someone tell me aion isn't going to fail. its inevitable

Have to say it has a lot of players still and Iam still enjoying it, you can't say it will fail like Warhammer Online and Age of Conan did. It's doing better already. And it doesn't lack end-game content so yea, it will not be as big as WoW but we knew that already before it came out I think it will get a well deserved 2nd place

i'm still playing it, but i'm not sure for how long though. still at lvl 20, so i can't say much yet. but some peeps i know are really losing the feeling of the game and they at the 30-40s lvl. i just need something to take a break from wow. once some of my wow friends comes back playing when new patch comes, i prolly drop aion. but as for "now", i'm still playing.
