so i just canceled my subscription today. i got to lvl 26 on my spirit master.

and now I'm just sitting here wondering why the f*** i wasted 50$ on a Korean grinder.

it was fun for a little while i admit that. but the lack of pvp and the insane grind just killed it for me.

Until you change your mentality, you won't be able to enjoy any game.

Lack of PVP? The game picks up at 25, usually MMO's pick up at 30. Just because it has grind doesn't make it a korean grinder. Theres a hell lot of pvp in the Abyss dude, and the grind isn't that bad.

To be quite honest, the pvp isn't very good untill 40+ Sure you can go in at 25, get a few ganks going, and have a little fun (if you're lucky) but, the way it's setup on my server at least, people were always a lot higher leveled, or came in large groups, and actual "pvp" happened very little.

I was really disappointed with Aion's pvp, I was expecting it to be more like half pvp half pve server, when reality it's like the pve world and then a giant battleground.

Erm nope, there are quests starting from 25+ requiring players to go to the opposite side. And there are rifts spawning from time to time, players can just get in and go over to the opposing faction's PVE areas and PK. Not everything is in the Abyss.My guild mems already has 400+ kills at low lvl 30s (im a lazy basterd).

Yeah I've done a few of those, and i've seen them coming through to our side. It's just not common enough(at least for the elyos on my server) to see any asmodians. I've seen a couple running around and have been attacked(and i killed) one. But at 31 the action was pretty dull. and the abyss was just ZzzZzz.

That's just the experience i had, if someones out purposefully hunting, then i can see 300+ kills, but just playing the game? I can't see it.

I knew better not to even bother trying this game. Once you have had experience with NC Soft (used to play L2) you really don't want anything to do with them again once you managed to quit. Altough I do understand that the game is a great time sink until something better is released.

This. I'm pretty pissed today, every freaking grind spot is taken, and the land is sooo big with so little spawns. And not to mention my server apparently has no alternative channels to switch to, being a Oceanic server. NCsoft really, really despises this part of the world.
