Persona 3 Portable
Persona 3 Portable, an enhanced remake of Persona 3 for the PlayStation Portable, has been announced by Atlus for release in Japan on November 1, 2009; a Western release of the game has not yet been announced.[3] The announcement in Famitsu revealed that the player will have the option to play as a female character. This selection will alter some aspects of the story: the first Persona gained by the Protagonist, Orpheus, will have a different appearance; Igor's assistant in the Velvet Room, Elizabeth, will be replaced with a male equivalent named Theodore.[83] The gender choice will also alter some aspects of the Social Link stories. In addition to the new playable character, there will be five difficulty levels to select from. The remake will include only the original game's story (The Journey from Persona 3). However, there will be some changes made to the plot, regardless of character choice. The game's revised battle system draws on elements added in Persona 3's successor, Persona 4. In combat, the player will be able to directly control every character, as opposed to utilizing the game's artificial intelligence. The ability to "Guard" during battles has been added, and allies will take fatal attacks for the Protagonist, preventing his or her death.[83] Outside of Tartarus, instead of navigating the game world by directly controlling the Protagonist, the player will guide an on-screen cursor around an area, allowing interaction with characters and objects. The game includes the voice acting of the original game, although characters are not shown in the world, instead being represented by on-screen portraits.[84] In addition, there is new music, composed by Shoji Meguro; some of the game's music will be different if the female protagonist is selected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_Me...sei:_Persona_3 no US release planned atm.

Also, how could they fit The Answer on one UMD when they already had to simplify most of the outside game graphics to just fit The Journey. I'm not sure how this would workout for digital distribution(I'm not sure how a UMD check is run. If size is checked then it would probably have to be <=2GB which is probably more than Journey + Answer is)
