That's the damage counter, exp pops up on screen per kill.

borderlands. I'm a bit through with l4d. Despite all the "novelty" they promote, i have this feeling that if i play L4D2, it's going to feel the exact same way as L4D1 in a short time.

L4D2 is just about killing zombies and getting from A to B in the end, despite the new features and weapons, it remains "just a zombie shooter" like L4D1 was.

I prefer the action RPG style gameplay and loads of random generated weapons of Borderlands over L4D2 anytime.

And besides, yes, i also felt ripped off by valve when they announced the sequel and the entire drama concerning L4D1 after that announcement ..

the thing is when l4d1 jus arrived, it took 1 month and i got bored alrdy. I surely do not want to have the same experience with l4d2 or borderlands. And errr what happens when u gotepic guns and story completed? wont you feel bored too? Sure you can go arena and kill the hell of your friends or other people but it wont last long. My firends were all like "Im not spending a single cent free games FTW" *sigh*

id get borderlands cuz of pure awesomness. then id get L4D2 from my friend for the pure zombie-killing rush lol.

Hmmm what to choose? Well I think I'll choose both. Why? pff why not? They'll both be good games in there very own way. I like zombie shooters, and open world FPS/RPG games. So why compare and complain about which one has that the other doesn't? Just get em both.

i would love to get both but personaly im the guy who jus buy like 2 to 3 games a year so im abit picky. There are the times where u bought the game and regret it ya know 1 of it is hellgate(god why server close?!!) and im kinda regret on l4d1 cos im bored of it after the achievements. Dont want to waste munny and on a tight budget so asking you guys on which is better you see. 1 word REPLAYABILITY. thats wat im looking for

Left 4 Dead 2 all the way

Borderlands is being overly hyped on OnRPG, I honestly don't see much special about it.

just wondering, how is l4d2 anything special compared to L4D1 except some weapons and a handfull of new zombie types?

L4D2 . . . from the gameplay videos, I may not like it comparing to L4D1; especially the "daytime" setting ">>
Borderlands . . ., not really interested

instead Im hoping ABP will be out in beta before em, it looks fun
