Well, I choose l4d2, have friends, who will play it, so that was obvious. Borderlands, well, I feel that it will be boring with randrom ppl and game itself wont be fun for meh...

If you got the cash, just buy both and save yourself the headache in deciding like i did
. I'd prefer l4d2 more tho because its by valve first of all and the multiplayer will have more replay value once player created content such as maps and mods start appearing.

yep thats pretty much all it is...its pretty much an mmo minus the lore with a heavier grind, all you do is kill enemies to get new weapons or find them in chests, gfx are pretty sweet though ill admit, playing with some ppl is pretty fun but it gets boring kinda quick...as for this or l4d thatll be a hard choice since both get really repetitive quick

i would have to choose L4D2 cause its way different from L4D by far and borderlands doesn't even look that great i looked up game play vids and all i can say is it looks way to boring for my taste i would rather the excitement all the time no matter what your doing you have to stay on your guard like L4D2 will give you if i had the money i would probably buy both but i am kinda on a low budget right now

Valve said they were going to add content into L4D... Instead they made a completely new game. Why? Because they need the money, and it is far beyond obvious. They lied, and because of that I'd rather stay away from L4D2. What then? Are they going to lie again and instead of add onto the game, just release L4D3? L4D4? L4D5?... On the other hand, Borderlands looks extremely fun with co-op mode. I never play single player games anymore, but I'd sure like to team up in Borderlands if I do ever get it. The pc version is still not on shelves in any of the stores here, only available over the net. I may not get it, but I am thinking about it. Right now I'm just so busy having a BLAST *literally* with the new Killing Floor update... Demolitions class ftw!

Yea I'm having fun with killing floor as well, haven't leveled up my medic since the first launch but will have to try the demo man.
Anyway borderlands has a D2 feel with guns and fps, or think of it as hellgate london but it isn't as bad. L4D2 is just the whole survival coop. So the choice between the two is if you want a survival coop(l4d2) or a fps/rpg/dungeon crawler(borderlands). However for only $20, killingfloor can give you a survial coop rpg with custom player made maps. Still waiting for the l4d2 demo to be released at 11pm pst... Early access that is though.

I have to agree with the whole "Valve is a douche" mindset...
They really screwed over the people that bought L4D1 and basically used us to test what an unfinished product. Then turned around and made L4D2, which is actually what was supposed to be added to L4D1 .. FOR FREE. Of course they say "Sure, we will still send out free DLCs for L4D1, we won't neglect you" even though a vast majority of the players WILL neglect it, since all the broken stuff in 1 was fixed in 2, so why bother to play 1 anymore? Which then leads to, no community = no more community driven maps, mods, etc all of that will go over to 2. So ya .. feeling a little bitter about the whole deal, which is a shame since I did enjoy the shit out L4D1. In either case I own both L4D and Borderlands and I would suggest picking up Borderlands tbh. |

I played the L4D2 demo and it just owns so much, i just cant play L4D and more cause it just doesn't feel the same anymore,
But i have a question What's so fun about Borderlands? (I havn't played it) Y'know other that the fact that there are 100000000 guns cause that just doesn't appeal to me, |
