lol
you cant compare the 2 fallout 3 is almost the perfect game, but if you are a kid and want over a million guns (like that is a goal or something) go for borderlands. anyway wrong section, they arent mmos. you can play borderlands in multiplayer tho

well fallout is an rpg for start ^^
and i think its one of the best rpg games after fallout is Divinity2 but i didnt knew fallout had co-op gaming or that it got an online game at all i knew it got the micresoft online thing but i thought its just to show your score to other players that play the game :P

fallout 3 doesnt have coop or online and it can be played as a fps too,its even better than borderlands on that.
the only bad thing is the high requirements and random crashes. about replayability i dont get it why people state that borderlands is replayable but fallout 3 isnt. they are both replayable games but broderlands you finish in 20 or so hours while fallout...much more than that.

i`d like to see you do that :P
besides if a game says it has 20 hours gameplay, then you can finish it faster then a game that states it has 40 hours...right? i mean,i hope you believe in logic.
