Practicing wall-hacking just makes you a better wall-hacker. Part of being good at CS is being able to react quickly to unanticipated enemies running around the corner. You improve on that by playing the game that way, not by removing obstacles.
There's no excuse for hacking. Last edited by lingojac; 10-28-2009 at 05:50 AM. |

beg to differ, wallhacking improves reasoning: my friends use to suck, they dl wallhack, and it enabled them to see how players move, and how they take cover and like to hide which eventually led them actually play better later without wallhack |

Yea, great idea... Instead of spectacting how players are playing just download Wallhack to see how players are playing. Your friends just won the internet. |

Go ahead, watch how someone codes a program, and then lets see how well you can replicate that text. Oh wait, you can't. Why? Because it's practice that leads to being able to program, by memorizing what each string, offset, and detour that is used in programming that makes you better. So go ahead, and break your fingers off now. No need to type any longer. |

Guys like you remind me why I stopped playing CS. But I had some good times like 6-7 years ago playing 1.3 in CALeague. My clan got very high in the rankings. And pub games are hilarious, I remember playing 52-0 on a Daemon server, before I got banned, because a admin thought I was cheating. Banned on all Daemon servers. Did LAN tourney on school a few years ago, and still owned the whole school lol. Some things you never forget I guess. But I closed this book....

you don't need wallhack to be better.. you just need experience. wallhack screws up your reflex when you're actually playing a real game without a wallhack because you would be too dependent on it.. seriously.. whoever think cheating would improve your skill should just stop playing multiplayer games. |

srsly now hacking makes you better? no, hacking makes you a piece of shit who shouldnt be playing that game in the first place. i couldnt even score a single kill on CSS or CS1.6 when i first played it, now things go alot smoother, because i started to learn possible strategies for that map. its like buying Aion and then buying a bot for 13 euro's that some chinese guy makes so it can play for you, what good is buying the game anyway if you let something do it al for you? (2 people in my class did this, the bunch of idiots) |

Lol. Im starting to think some people didnt even read the thread. They just saw "wall-hack" and raged. I do get that hacking=bad and annoying to others but OP does have a point. In a twitch based game where you have to know what ppl do in order to play well it can show you what ppl do. I mean hes not using it anymore so why worry about it if it works for him?
