Spyro’s Burning Cough
|
Soon after the life in the tavern came to live again everyone started a conversation about where to go and much more things. Aryeh finished her meal first before she was saying something. She looked up from her empty bowl and her eyes moved to Felicity.
"I will stay with you outside the village if that is oke with you." She said serious. Although she liked this place there were to much people who might recognize her for what she had done and that would put the rest of the group in danger. Suddenly Ikale sat down next to her and thanked her helping. She smirked to him. "No problemo, but I have to buy a new bandage somewhere... you used my last one." She grinned and continued. "Nah you didn't miss much, the people here made clear they don't like Felicity and Kaliv held an inpressive speech.. ow and Felicity cast some sort of spell and..... Ah I know we are going to the Northlanders." She smiled, she liked the Northlanders. You could always have much fun with them. "But further not much happenend." She said shrugging. |

Kaliv blinked as he was nudged by Leo. He had to agree, he didn't like the idea of letting Felicity stay out on her own. "I'll go with you, Felicity. No dbout you could hold your own against a few werewolves if they found you and decided to lynch you. But we still have the cultists to worry about." He stated, sighing exasperatley. "Never did I think the hate for Earthborns was so great here."

"Its fine." Felicity told Kaliv, "I've been through worse. Although..." She considered, "That was a long time ago and there was a Demi-God involved."
She turned to Aryeh, "Certainly, I get the feeling we'd both welcome a little break." However, when she turned to Kaliv again her expression was a little more firm. "You really shouldn't leave the village after nightfall. The werewolves will be offended." She brushed her hand over his cheek, "Aryeh and I will be fine. Enjoy the nightlife." She rose and began to leave the tavern. "I'll meet you in the main market when you're ready." She said to Aryeh. "Remember what I said about that pretty werewolf girl." She pointed at Kaliv, "Don't. Really, just don't."

Aryeh nodded to Felicity in a sign that she had understanded it and then looked to Le'o. "Seems like we have to get back at buisness so I'm leaving now on my quest to buy a bandage." She grinned and stood up. "Thanks for the meal." She said to him with a smile and walked to the door of the tavern.
She passed Kaliv and made a grin to him. "I will protect her don't be afraid," She said chuckeling as she moved outside, her tail brushing to the door and then closing it. Outside she looked around in search of a market or something. She moved to a man and asked politly. "Sir, do you maybe know where I can find a market or any other shop where they sell bandages?" The man looked to her and for a second his eyes narrowed and he let a thoughtfull glance going over body and face but then his face turned back to normal. "Your lucky missy, just past that street when you come to a plaza, there is market today you will find everything you need there." "Thanks sir." Aryeh said as she moved into the direction the man had pointed. ((Have to leave now I won't be back till tomorrow (tuesday) evening)) |

As Aryeh stood up and thanked Le'o, he gestured his arm towards her and said:
"Pleasure was all mine" Le'o faced Kaliv and Ikale. They were going to have a men's night, that meant a good 'ol party to Le'o. He could already picture it: The room would be half lit, there would be one light source above each man, three in all. All of them would quietly sit and read a book which they just loved, and then discuss with each other about the pros and cons of the book. Le'os eyes sparkled even from the thought of that. Of course there was also an alternative if the other two guys refused to have a book club, although Le'o didn't bother much with that thought. He was absolutely sure that the guys would be happy to read with him. Anyway, that alternative would include dancing! Le'os eyes sparkled again. He suddenly closed the book he had been reading and slided it back to Kaliv. "We are going to have a men's night! I have an excellent plan!" (( I'll be having lots of fun figuring Le'os devastation if/when Kaliv and Ikale refuse from both ))

Kaliv immediatley facepalmed. Huzzah. He thought sarcasticly to himself, I'm stuck with the book enthusiast and the Necromancer in a village full of werewolves. However, he managed to force a smile for Felicity. Nodding and waving. "Right..." He said, a tad dissapointed he wouldn't get some more time alone with her, it was evident in his voice ever so slightly, but he managed to hide it. "See you tomorrow, then." He then looked to Lero, dreadingly asking: "What's the plan?"

Felicity walked through the market, seeing vendors sell their wares was quite relaxing for her. She kept her hood down so that no one could see what race she was.
She approached a large caravan towards the centre of the market. A very colourful man was stood there, he had three cards held out to the crowd around him. "Pick a card, pick your future!" He called, "These aren't just pieces of paper, they're wish-cards! What am I bid?" Felicity laughed out loud, she hurriedly stopped herself although it was impossible to stop smiling. Wish-cards were merely little trinkets that could sometimes grant a general request. Pointless. However, she saw people desperately pressed up against each other, clamouring for the cards, waving their money around. Felicity looked at a small family, a teenage sister with her younger brother. They were staring forlornly at the caravan, as if their only hope lay there. Felicity went up to them, "What's wrong?" She asked. The girl cast a suspicious stare at the hooded woman in front of her, then shrugged. "S'those cards, ent it?" She sighed, "We 'ad 'oped to buy em." The girl produced three patheticly small pieces of gold from a pouch. "Guess not." Felicity's heart went out to the two children, she knelt down to the boy. "If you had three wishes," She asked, "What would you wish for?" The boy looked at her seriously and considered. "Enough money to be happy." He said, "a really big house and three meals every day." Felicity nodded and turned to the caravan. The bidding was up to twenty gold pieces. "A hundred gold!" She called, causing people to turn, the two children beside her gaped. The vendor looked pleased, "Sold!" He cried before he could stop himself. Felicity motioned the family to follow her and went to the caravan through the crowd. She handed her money over, the vendor passed her the cards. Felicity murmured a few words over them, causing them to shimmer. Then she gave the cards to the boy. "Make your wishes." She encouraged him, "Just like you did earlier." The boy did so. Immediately the cards melted into mist and the boy was left empty-handed. Felicity drew them close, "Don't worry." She told them, "Give it a few days and I promise you, at least one of those wishes will be granted. Give it some time then see about the others." She flashed an encouraging smile. Almost immediately a man ran up to her, "Excuse me, miss." He said breathlessly, "But after seeing that purchase, I was wondering, could I interest you in a house?" Felicity beamed, "I'll buy the biggest one you've got." She winked conspiratorially at the boy. "But these two will live in it." After about half an hour, everything was sorted and Felicity left the brother and sister in their new home. She walked back to the tavern, after a drink before leaving the village for the night.

Seeing Kaliv's face told a lot. Le'o just wasn't sure if he was sulking over that he couldn't be with Felicity tonight, or was it because of Le'os plan. Le'o decided not to keep it inside of him any longer.
"Two words, gentlemen. BOOK. CLUB", Le'o said with a clear enthusiasm in his voice. Le'o took a deep breath and then unleashed his explanation(RANT RANT!!). "Okay, here's the deal. We ALL have some sort of favourite book, be it a children's book from our dear childhood or an intriguing detective story. It could even be a horror book, if you're the type", *inhale*, "Anyways, we'll all be reading that favourite book again, to freshen our memory of it, and then discussing about it! What are the good sides of the book and vice versa. It'll be some much fun! I used to do it all the time back in Iouika. You two MUST have done it.. before.. right.. ?", Le'o slowed down as he saw the expressions on both, Ikale and Kaliv. Did I go overboard..?, Le'o wondered.

Kaliv blinked, suprised by Leo's outburst. He seemed extremley, extremley bored when the man had finished is rant. And forced a painfull, friendly smile onto his lips. He knew what it was like to have a passion, but book clubbing was certainly not one of his. He sighed exasperatley. Felicity, why couldn't I come with you? He thought sarcasticly. Inside himself, he shrugged. She proberly just wants some space. He thought sadly to himself, but there was dbout in his thoughts.
"I, erm." Kaliv said. Trying to force the smile onto his lips further. However they seemed stubborn to move. "Well, you see. Erm." He sighed, "I don't exactly find book clubs that intresting. I have many... un-fond memories of them." He looked to the side, remembering how bored he was when his friends invited him around for the so-called book nights that were so drolly boring. "Even reading an adventure book couldn't stem the boredom. I'd rather have an adventure where i'm the protagonist. Though a little less generic." |

Ikale felt a cold shudder for some reason when L’eo uttered the words “men’s night”, for some reason that gave him a bad feeling, judging from Kalivs face palm he felt about the same way, though he guessed any mans company was worse than the lady you had a crush on, this was just confirmed when he voiced his opinion about it.
Though Ikale relaxed a bit when he heard it was just a bookclub, though not the best option it could certainly be worse, he liked to read after all, but still those things weren't his favorite hoby, he surely hoped he had better things to do. “Well that sounds,, interesting L’eo, but I got two objections, first, where will we find these books as this villages library isn’t exactly, let’s just say complete, and I had other plans for today, like trying to find a werewolf corpse right now actually”, Ikale said and then turned to Kaliv, “suppose you don’t know if they got any recently hanged killer, or be willing to sell a killers body, or if they just try to kill me for asking, and if not if they got some alchemistical (is that even a word?) equipment somewhere around here they mind sharing?"
