Of course many companies are already doing their best to remove goldsellers from their game, but Blizzard takes a step up by publicly announcing it - as well as the consequences. And it ain't pretty!

Take one Goldseller down and two other ones will take his place, resistance is futile.

Is anyone else disappointed that Blizzard isn't hiring PMC's to go over to China and just start killing gold farmers?

its good to hear that Blizz is taking a grand stand on these gold sellers. But alone they cannot, its in the hands of the players who must resist these programs. If people keep shelling out the cash for these sites, the gold sellers will continue their programs. Word of mouth is the only way to stop the gold farmers, we gotta continue to stay away from these sites and tell others to do the same.

Every time there's a market for something, there's usually a corresponding illegitimate market.

Glad to see someone taking an official stance though.

Those that do buy gold aren't allowed for any MMORPGs imo.

It shows that they do not have the time what it takes to get what they want, what MMOs basically are about.

I don't really see how blizzard saying that is really going to change anything :/ . seems to be more of a lip service for the players who are worried about it.
