The games PvP WAS Amazing! I played up until the Samurai Legacy or some shit (It has Samurai's) and was just tons of fun, despite it not being as good as it was before. It is also for some reason a very social game. (Bank sitters)

My favorite MMORPG of all time.
Actually, Darkfall did not fail. If you havent played it you have nothing to base your opinion on. If you liked uo post-AOS then you're a newb.

But...but...but..

I could rock you Pre-AoS.

Blessed Vanq Spear, pre-cast Explosion, and even if you did survive, I still had an e-bolt ready for you my good sir. Do I win this argument over the biggest E-peen?

And Darkfall was expected to be A LOT more then it is, so in a way it FAILED to meet the expectations of a lot of people. So yes, it did FAIL.

I liked UO Post-AoS, I didn't say it was better.

LOL GET IT?

If there is one thing I realized over the past several months; is that life is a very short experience, and it shouldn't be wasted avoiding opportunities, and instead of allowing minuscule things getting you down, you should smile and tip your hat, and accept any outcome, good or bad.

hey hey. Vanq poisoned kyrss, vas ort flam. and the two best words in the game. All kill.

And honestly, Darkfall player base is all the old hardcore UO and AC players. Since release they've patched a fixed things, release an free expansion, and releasing another one in nov. Everything they've added and change were what players requested on the forums.

UO shards aren't exactly newb friendly. You might spend a week trying to figure out what to do and never accomplish anything.

You can download it from the official UO website (the games client).

The private server you will want to play is www.uogamers.com

P-servers are legal, so you don't have to be so "sneaky" about it.

The private servers (listed above) has about as many (if not more) players than the official servers.

Ultima Online is great, best PvP a game will ever have. It has a very, very steep learning curve though, so don't give up the first week of playing it.
