I quit wow for about a year and a half because I was playing too much. Now, when I have the time to waste, I can't find a game I can "get into". I tried wow again but I can't seem to get into it again.

The only 2 games I played for 6 years total of my life were Runescape(lol?) and WoW.

I have a few questions about WoW, though.

-When are the goblin/worgen race coming to be?
-Back when I played I could get PvP gear that was equivalent to alot of the high tier raiding gear. Since I don't have the hours upon hours to join a raiding guild and start raiding, I need to PvP to get my gear. My toons were decently geared with Arena gear back then. Is this the same now? Can I get decent gear from arenas?
-There was another thing, where you would recruit a friend you(or your friend, I can't remember) would get an added xp boost, how did this work?

WoW was the only game I actually liked to play, I would play Runescape but I'm banned. :o

1) Worgen/goblins are coming out in the next expansion, cataclysm. The expansion is also bringing alot of HUGE changes. All of azeroth will have a cataclysm(surprised?) , changing all of the landscape, and the next expansion will take place in the new azeroth. Alot of stuff, i'll just link the website. 2)Yes you can still get equivalent gear through arena. Also, now heroics will drop emblems of the previous pve tier. So if we are on tier 10, you can some tier 9 from heroics.

3) Recruit a friend is when a player sends you a referal and you then buy the box and 2 months of game time. Then if you level with that person you get 3 times the normal exp, and can grant that person a free level for every 3 you get (i think). It's only up to lvl 60 tho. There is also a scroll of ressurection if you use your old account, but it just gives the person that sends it to you free game time.

The pve in the game is so shit-easy right now, you don't have to spend hours upon hours getting raid gear. Most of the pve content is puggable easily. If anything it'd take less time pugging raids than grinding honor, unless you like pvping.

you can get pvp gear from honor or badges that you get from heroics you can get all pieces from honor beside weapon which you will need the rating for it but ya they make wow raiding so easy that you can be done in around 1-2 hrs and get uber god gear
