Out of curiosity... does anyone else have the worst package Comcast offers? I'm pretty sure my download speeds should at least exceed 100 kb/s even with the cheapest package... but... they don't. In addition, everything else on the internet slows down by quite a lot when I have a download on, even though it's only going at about 100 kb/s. I'm thinking they're screwing me over with bandwidth, but I haven't been able to figure out what my speeds are supposed to look like, because my parental units refuse to tell me for whatever reason.

Basically what I wanna know is... Is Comcast just screwing me over? I'm just wondering because my DL speeds used to exceed 500 kb/s on good servers, which steam usually has. Yeah, I'm pretty much complaining because I wanted to play Borderlands tonight after I bought it but won't be able to until tomorrow because of the terrible DL speed.

Just for kicks, here's a speed test to give a glimpse of how my internet quality is looking, with only firefox and Xfire taking up bandwidth, with no downloads.

pretty sure comcast is screwing you over...

im useing the cheapest package comcast offers (only thing in my area) and downloading 2 things (torrents killing upload) i would be calling comcast if i were you hehe.
