Its called Jade Dynasty 2 in China after the big patch. And Perfect World is called Perfect World 3 there now.

The English server for Jade Dynasty simply refer it as Jade Dynasty: Ascension. And yes, its a huge patch, not a new game.

Yeah I'm gonna agree with Dsata on terms of enjoyment with the arden. I don't really enjoy playing archers cause they are usually gimped in some way or another in most mmo's but in JD they seem to be a bit overpowered. I know they are supposed to be equal to someone whose ascended but damn man, if arden's and balo's can also ascend (i think they can I've seen npcs selling ascended gear for them) they'll dominate end game pvp. The only thing I could see as being a slight flaw is the lack of mobbing capabilities (ie. No good multi target skills till tier 4).

I use my wolf more than I use my bull at 60 and even then that's rare. I think I'm gonna try and get my hands on a Magmas pet (they start at like 1500 gold on Billows server) to help speed up pve. I think once we see some 135+ arden's we'll really get a sense of how well the class preforms in pvp. Our T5 final bow skill hits 3 times and there's a tome that adds a status effect to each hit. There's alot of speculation that arden's will crit harder and more often than a lupin, which could result in alot of 1-hit KO's.

Arden and balo seem to be decent classes. Balo has a lot of hp I noticed.
