You can't just blame everything on religion man.

There will (probably) never be world peace because of human nature. Yes most religions are just ideologies used to control the masses but it's not the absolute evil you make it out to be.

In fact, religion is great for the people that actually use it in a sound way. It gives them comfort and happiness. The problem are the corrupt ones and the extremists.

Anyhow, even if "global" world peace was achieved, people would still be extremely egoistic.

if you've never experienced it, go youtube a opinion(or documentary) of a raped person who got pregnant.

even if its not the cells fault, ( may i remind you its still a product of a human until it develops a mind) but when the person is born, It will have traits of that criminal, would you want to see the traits of a person you mentally and physically hurt you in that fashion?

BUT none of that, all the underlined is just my saying things that makes some sense, i do not like people saying things even if they didnt experience it.

ON THE FACT of religion, obviously you guys forget, it was to control the masses, but a lot of religions were FORCED upon you or you died. (speaking of the past of course, and some places in the present)

1)ill say this again, money and power are the main reasons of war, religion is an excuse, not a reason(most of the time). so without rleigion people will find other means of waging war.

2) If I understand correctly (Are you foreign? Half your sentences I hire a translator for because you decide to skip out on half the words necessary for a complete sentence.) you are saying there wont be war if we have unlimited resources? You know everything has a limit right? There is no such thing as unlimited... There has always been war and always will be. The quest for power will always exists.


That being said, on abortion, I stand neutral. I agree that it should be the women's decision (say she gets raped, and is pregnant, I think she has the choice to choose). I dont agree on the whole "Its not a human being!" thing. It is. That excuse is old and overused. The excuse is false and 100% not true scientifically and mentally. They only say that to try and make themsleves not feel guilty for actually killing another human being.

in the middle east the populations are muslim in majority and the centre of each community is the mosque (just like in 14th century europe where the church was the social and cultural centre of the village)

so in many developing muslim countries the average goat farmer and his family get all their world news and local news from one source: the local imam.

so they only have one or two sources of information and calling the west decadent and corrupt is a good scapegoat if they are all poor and starving. its not that they are evil or stupid or anything like that. go learn some things you idiot.

anyway, ontopic: alot of the time it ISNT religion which forces people to have abortions.... its a sense of morality, alot of anti-abortion groups (the really radical ones) are pro-life... not pro-religion. so nerrr nerr nerrrrr to your theory.
