Is there a MMO where you build citys and such(Like Anno1404: Dawn of discovery), where you can build up a area of land then when you advanced far enough you can destroy other peoples towns/vice versa?. Started playing Dawn of discovery a few days ago and was wondering if there is a MMO like that with more emphasis on pvp.

Dreamlords comes close I think. I never played it but it looks like its some sort of RTS type of game where people get their own realms. You play as a dream lord, the soul of your land or something and you get your people to gather resources and fight enemies and build up the town and such.

Ah, I remember playing it awhile back, but my PC was shit then so i didn't bother figuring it out, and eventually forgot about it. Thanks dude, ima check it out again.

Evony is pretty much that >.> except slower.

Evony is a mid-quality city-building PBBG.
Unfortunately, the administration (i.e. GMs and Mods) are possibly worse than those of Gameforge. I would not recommend it.

I recommend

The Lost Castle (single-player)
CitiesXL (this is retail)
Heroes of Might and Magic III (Free, yet requires knowledge of how to emulate DOS using DOSbox)
Star Peace (the first true MMO city-builder that I have heard of --> now bankrupt)

And then there are like crafting-RPGs where you build structures (Tale in The Desert, Universal, WURM, etc.).

Hmm. And then there is just strategy, like Battle for Wesnoth. This has a high-emphasis on PvP (and the PvP is well-balanced).

Yes, I would consider Travian to be the first true "City Building" PBBG with graphics that I have played.

If you liked Travian, you will like the genre.
