Bestbuy is a ripoff though.

They are very overpriced.

Also that laptop mention is not that good.

The laptop I mentioned is many times more powerful.

a 17.3 inch screen is a little too big.

For a laptop most people would want mobility so I would recommend a 15 inch.

Well, there's this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Gateway+...&skuId=9548661
17.3" monitor, 1600x900 resolution, fair Intel Dual Core, but the video card is horrible, if you plan to do some mildly intense graphical stuff.

If you are looking for a "general use" laptop, that can run SOME games (HL2, SPORE, Painkiller) check out "Dell Studio 15". Thats what I have.

Not too bad!

You should decide by yourself, onrpg isn't a good place to ask these questions.

What I use for school.

Didn't buy it for gaming but it actually surprised me when I tried some out, the only thing I've run into that it can't play is Arkham Asylum.

Even ran GTA IV at a decent fps with some tweaks.

I found an updated version of that card:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Pav...&skuId=9554671
It's the 4200, instead of the 3200. I heard it performs much better and cooler.
