I honestly don't know why people continue to flock to these sub-par FPS games anyways. Go buy CSS if you want a source engine game. It's like 15 bucks. That's less than any of you will spend trying to buy weapons from a cash shop. Just because a game is labeled "Free to Play" doesn't mean you won't be spending cash to enjoy the game.

It's going to be just like any other game that has a cash shop in the FPS world. The people who spend money unbalance the game while the people who don't have to deal with it.

Proportionally it has the same amount of hackers as other f2p FPS games like Combat Arms. You could say they have less hackers only because they have a user base that is far lower than games like CA. But it's still proportionally about the same. (ie CA has thousands of users and thousands of hackers, KOS has hundreds of users and hundreds of hackers.)

It's a shame because I have enjoyed the game mechanics for the most part.

It's basically just another CS clone

Gave this a try but I have to say it makes very little sense to me, you'll kill someone with two shots regardless of what weapon you use, thats how it felt to me atleast. Witch could be a good thing, since its pretty realistic as long as you hit vital areas...but where does the weapon damage stat come in then? It ends up being the weapon that can spew bullets fastest, and have the best accuracy that will dominate the others.

I honestly can't see where this game is going to compete with CSS, as Tisel said you can spend 15$ once and have a game that beats this on every aspect of the game, not to mention less bugs, more players and dedicated servers.

they are stll chagning a lot of stuff about the game like damage, recoil etc.

I have been logging in once in a while, finally got access to the m60 (woot). It's more fun to me than CA at this point and it plays a lot faster.

But in the end, it just gets really boring really quick. It's the same concept as CS, but with a cashshop.

The hackers are getting bored and playing other games, but I still see at least 1-2 obvious hackers in any given match.
