(Ok)
Jonathan stood and moved his arm to infront of him. A black door appeared, his hand holding the handle. He opened it, a gust of wind blew some snow into the Plain. Jonathan walked through and shut the door.

Kari sighed, glancing at the door as it disappeared. "We need to find out how to seal his gate while he is in Unilt. Then when the Earth gate is secure, we can banish it from the Plain."

Jonathan threw his coat onto a crystalline chair, "Home, sweet home!" He called happily. "Made some new friends, decided to give being good a try." He was alive with energy and dark sparks began to crackle around his body. Jonathan frowned, "Gotta try and stop that stuff." He left his small crystal house and walked into the snow.
(Is ANYONE going to post?!) :P

Min blushed at the words the angel boy offered, his compliments a bit much. He spoke like a true angel -- well, what Min would imagine how an angel would speak like. There were no harsh words offered, and each held a truth about them -- not that Min was being conceited. Well, it just seemed a lot easier to trust him over Jonathan.
Speaking of which, Min noticed Jonathan retreating into the gate to Unilt. She hadn't been paying attention to him, and by the time she realized this and raced after him, the gate vanished in a smoke of darkness. Holding back the desire to scream, Min only stared at the spot where Jonathan and the gate had been before stomping her foot on the ground. Her plan to watch after him and make sure he didn't escape had been foiled, meaning she had no business to stay in The Plains. "Well, Kari, you can stay in The Plain or head to Earth if you so desire. As for me, I am headed back to Edenia. There may be secrets buried there that I overlooked, and I plan to find them before coming back to The Plain. Just standing here annoys me." With that, Min started moving one foot in front of the other, headed to her own gate. As she walked away, the thought of Jonathan flickered into her head. He seemed to be laughing at all of them, which ticked Min off. There was no doubt in her mind (call it "Woman's Intuition") that Jonathan knew what he was doing; he was just a trickster and clever at hiding his motive. Even Mikin couldn't get passed his wall of secrets, which only further infuriated Min. If she saw him again, there might be no way to prevent her from slapping him in the face. "I swear...I vow to protect Earth, Edenia, and all the other worlds from that Unilt scum! First, I'll head to any library I can find in Edenia, and research all I can about Unilt and the market until I am ready to faint! Then, and only then, will I even consider returning to The Plains!" ((OOC: A scorned woman is a dangerous one. :o )) |

OOC: (Scorned?! What's Jonathan done?...Besides lie...once?)
Jonathan crafted another doorway, this time it led to Unilt. He opened the black door and stepped into a library of books and data records. A burly woman approached him. "Whaddaya want?" She asked gruffly. Jonathan narrowed his eyes, "Information on the keys." He replied. She matched his stare before nodding, "Follow me." She turned and walked further into the library. Finally they reached a lone table with a very old book resting on top of it. Curious, Jonathan opened the book. It was handwritten and was a journal made by previous gatekeepers. It showed diagrams for shadow constructs, instructions for how to cast shadows over perceptions, and much, much more. Jonathan narrowed his eyes, "Ahhhh." He murmured, "So thats the way." He turned to the woman, "I'm taking this book with me." It was not a request but an announcement. She nodded again before producing a black chain, she bound it to the book and then to his arm. "This'll keep ya connected." She said, "Now ya can control who opens it an it can't be taken from ya, even when yer dead." She spoke boldly, Jonathan grinned, he liked her. Creating another door, Jonathan stepped onto the Plain. The book hovered above his shoulder but was bound by the chain. He closed the door and looked around for the others.

Kari nodded fairwell to Min, waving. She glanced up at the Angel and smiled. "So i need to head back to Cenre, then Earth. But i believe that your help would be very vital to our cause." She nodded once more, before turning and heading back to the Cenre gate, seeing as there was no direct gate to Earth. She held tightly to her book as she opened the large oak door, closing it behind her with a click. She felt the presence of the door disappear as she continued on to find the Port Master.

((OOC: Looks like we missed you, buckaroo.
And, I dunno...I guess Min gets easily scorned like that. xD ))Min was glad to be back in Edenia. The air had a different freshness compared to The Plain, yet it was still very clear and enjoyable. For some reason, the reak of technology did not plague the air here, like it did on Earth. When Min examined some of the passing vehicles, she finally understood why; they didn't run on gas, but some other source of energy. Granted, Min couldn't tell what that other energy was, but she couldn't smell that vile odor of gas being converted into fuel and released as pollution as she grew closer to the road. As she stood there pondering what exactly was used to power the vehicles, a slick car (if it could even be called that) drove up to the side of the road and honked at Min. Startled, Min watched as a pearly window was rolled down, and a man with sandy hair and dark brown eyes gazed out at her. He placed his arm out the window and gestured at what Min now understood to be Edenia's version of a taxi. "Hello. I saw your little performance earlier, while I happened to be passing by. Never thought I would get to see the summoning of a gate, or a gatekeeper in the flesh." The man skimmed Min's appearance before continuing. "My, you sure know how to blend in, though. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never guess that you were the gatekeeper of Edenia -- not that you don't look it! Well, then again, can't say I know what a gatekeeper looks like...at any rate, care for a ride to anywhere of your choice?" "Actually, I would love to be taken to a library. Do you have any suggestions?" Grinning, the man nodded and, getting out, opened the door for Min. She was shocked by how gracious the man was, but she grinned thankfully and slid into the taxi. The seats were soft and smooth, but they didn't look like they were made out of animals. That only proved how much more attached to nature and how respectful the people of Edenia were. As if reading her mind, the taxi driver replied, "We make sure the balance between nature and humans never shifts drastically. If we need to the assistance of nature in creating shelters and supplying food for us, we make sure that what we take is replenished immediately. Such is the way we live. Not that we judge other who don't live this way." Min smiled, enjoying the lesson about Edenia and their lifestyle. She wanted to know more, and perserve their ideas and customs as much as possible. That's why she needed to head to the library -- any library, so long as it has the information she needed. Of course, knowing how much the driver had a keen eye for reading people, Min knew she was being taken to the right place. ((OOC: At this rate, everyone is going to find a book about something important and be all, "DON'T TOUCH MY BOOK!" xD )) |
