"No ideas, I'm afraid." Jonathan remarked, treading his foot into the shattered vase and slowly crushing it further. "I was just about to go looking for gatekeepers before you interrupted me."
His shadow seemed to grow and a blade of darkness extended from his hand to the woman's neck.
"Don't ever interrupt me again." His voice was cold, harsh, full of fury. "Or else your precious gate will never open."

((OOC: Fieryfly, how dare you steal my idea! Joke, joke. xD We need to think of a way to get to 'The Plain', since it seems Rozen isn't going to tell us how. I just wish I knew how 'The Plain' should look...))

Min scrambled to her feet, her eyes watching her house in the distance. Her father had said not a word, merely glared at Min with a mixture of anger and fear. It was the same look Min had seen in his eyes when she was overcome with coldness. The more the doctors claimed there was nothing they could do but offer for her to be taken to somewhere warm, the more hatred and worry filled his eyes. Out of both her parents, Min's father was the only one that could not hide his worry over losing one of his children.

"Too bad...if I had known that before, would I have been able to be at peace with Mi-na?"

Her hand subconsciously twirled around the red string around her neck, until it traced its way into the key dangling from it. Recalling the dream, Min gazed at the ornamental patterns throughout the bow that held the pink and red flowers. The word "love" flashed into Min's head, and she carefully examined the throating, which had words “Thou peace lies within thine heart” engraved on it.

"Father...I can't hide it anymore." Min watched as her dad stopped walking, but didn't turn around. "I know this sounds crazy, but I have a duty, and that duty is...to protect Earth and all the other worlds out there from harm -- please do not think I am crazy! This key that I have been treasuring...it is one of six keys given to the chosen, called Gatekeepers. My key leads to a world called Edenia. Like I said, there are other worlds out there -- six of them...unless you count the world that is trying to capture those worlds and all other worlds...Unilt. I know I have been stingy in my past...I still may be...but.....just watch! I'll learn how to accept others better, and hopefully...keep my peace."

By now, Min's father was staring at Min with a gapped mouth, like he was trying to speak that whole time, yet couldn't find the words. Even now, Min wouldn't let him speak, in fear that he would claim she was crazy. After all, she just thrusted a secret that she didn't even fully understand at her father. It didn't matter if he loved her or not, that was a lot to believe without being able to digest it well. So, when he spoke, Min was prepared for all that he had to say.

"Do you know why your mother and I never took pity on you? Yes, Mi-na is older than you, and it is known that the eldest always get the most advantage over the youngest. However, I knew from the start that you were very strong. Granted, your desire to overcome any challange made you forget who you were challanging, or those that wanted to assist you, but I knew you were strong -- you still are. I understand that, so please...don't you think you are too old to play these games? Min?"

Min turned her head to the ground, shaking her head. Then she burst out in laughter, before controlling herself. When she looked her father in his eyes, her eyes were filled with much confidents and...sorrow. It was the expression one had when they weren't sure if they were ever going to see their loved ones again, but knew they had to continue forward. Instead of running off and leaving unbeknowest to her father, though, Min rose the key and concentrated. Its power seemed more focused, since she was the one calling upon the gate now, not the other way around. Just when her father was about to grab Min and tell her to cease her childish antics, a great force of energy gathered in front of Min. Min's father froze with fear as a gate appeared, opening itself for Min, who took one final glance at her father.

"Farewell."

((OOC: Min's heading to Edenia, and might just run into the Governor. :o ))

She looked at the blade. Sher put her hand on the edge and put it away. "Well...That may be. But as the leader of the planet you live on, I had no choice. And if we have no ideas, then we must find a new alternative." She sighed and stood up. She walked over to an open window and looked outside.

She smirked. She had almost been laughing at him when he said this. "Dont like my job....? I take it more sierously than others...Thats what sets me apart." She gave him a cold stare. "And I guess if you have no ideas, then we must leave this planet and find another with a key like the one you have..." She shook her head slightly and began to walk toward him.

Jonathan's eyes narrowed. "We? I work alone." He laughed, "and anyway, you can't leave Unilt, can you? That's why you want me to open the gate."

Min felt the gate close behind her, and she couldn't help but allow the tears swelling within her eyelids trickle down her cheek. There were a few people in the district of Lon out and about, but they paid Min no mind. By now, her presence wasn't a big deal, and they knew she often came and went as she pleased. How shocked would they be if they learned that she desired to stay a bit longer than she was welcomed to.

Realizing that if she were to even somewhat fit in, she needed to change her clothes, Min immediately made her way to one of the many merchants. He was a muscular guy, but properly groomed his hair so that most of it was pulled back, aside from a few dangling bangs. He had deep, stern blue eyes, yet his crooked grin made up for it. There was a piece of wheat dangling from his mouth, as well as a flat, tan hat upon his head. Despite his appearance, by taking one glance at his black robe that looked similar to a male kimono, only with slits in part of the sleeve to reveal the white robe underneath, Min knew he was quite skilled.

"Um, may I asked what would be the right apparel for someone such as myself?" Min knew it would be offensive if she asked what would be the cheapest fabric he sold.

"Hmm...you have some fine hair, even if they retain a slight curl. I would have offered you red if your hair contained a tad bit of brown, or your eyes were of that color, but...hmm, you need a subtle color. Sadly I am all out of blue, so how about green and...ah, this silvery colored robe. Reminds me of metal, ha-hah...hey, you okay, kid?"

Min stared at the two robes as though she were in a trance. They were the exact same ones in her dream, the metal colored robe being the lighter of the material and obviously went on first. "Um, how much?"

"Huh, now that I think of it, you aren't from around -- no way, you are the Gatekeeper, right?! Ha-hah, wow, never thought I'd see the day. I had been in Eran up until now, so I didn't know if the rumors were true or not! Tell you what; I'll offer you these magnificent robes for $27 if I can get a look at that key of yours."

So, by allowing the merchant a few minutes to admire the key, Min got the outfit of her dreams...literally. The whole deja vu event left her dazed, and it showed as she walked around the streets. A few apologize were offered to those she accidentally bumped into, and there were a couple life and death situations with speeding vehicle. It hadn't occured to Min that although Edenia was surrounded and enclosed in nature, there were many of the dangers that occure in her world. Sighing, Min kept walking onward, hoping for an idea to pop into her head. Instead, her unfocused nature caused her to bump into yet another person.

"S-sorry--"

Min's eyes lit up as she got a good look of who she collided into. The young man that appeared to be in his early or mid twenties had flowing blonde hair, yet his eyes were like brown stones found at night, still retaining their main hue, yet unable to fully resist the shadows of night. There was a sense of dignity and elegance about him, and although his robes were the same color as the merchant's, they seemed silkier and had a purple stitching close to the end of the sleeves. There was also a beautiful, turquoise amulet around his neck and a stylish belt of sorts.

"I greatly apologize for my carelessness, sir!" Min's cheeks flushed red, for the young man left her flustered. Hoping to slow the beating of her heart, Min bowed deeply before racing off in the opposite direction the young man was facing. Out of Min's many visits, she had never encountered the Governor, and didn't know that was with whom she had just spoken to.

Zel let out a small oof as the girl bumped into him. Taken off guard, rubbed his side while grinning at the girl. "It's alright, but you should really-" Zel watched the girl race off, cutting him off from his sentence. "Heh, you don't see that many formal people now-a-days," he said, shaking his head.

Halfway to his office, Zel felt a small throb in his side causing him to remember the incident. That was when the image of the girl popped into his head. "No...could it...it's too soon..." Zel continued to babble to himself when a mother and her daughter passed by. "Good afternoon, Governor Hyu." Zel whipped around and gave them a kind smile. "Hi there. I'm sorry to cut this short, but I've just remembered something." With that said, he ran back towards the streets, retracing his steps.

It had been awhile since Min ran away from the handsome, young man she had bumped into, yet his image wouldn't erase itself from her mind. Her heart was beating like the drums a drummer uses in a fast pace rock song. As for her breathing, Min thought that if she kept sucking in and releasing air so quickly for too long, something unpleasant would enter her mouth. So, Min finally slowed down and tried to find a place to sit.

Blinking, Min spotted a wooden bench, painted white and still in good condition, under a fancy street light. If it wasn't for the slight elegancy placed into anything made by the people of Edenia, Min would have thought she were in some old fashion movie. There was plenty of nature, which reminded her of the parks of old, which were more open field than playgrounds. A few animals and critters hopped and creeped about, as though amused by their childish antics, yet didn't want anyone to see. In fact, as soon as Min strolled over to take a seat on the bench, most of them raced away.

"I'm not that frightening! ...Still, I guess only those truly pure at heart could attract animals, not scare them away. My heart...as long as I do not know how to be true to myself, I'll never understand what is deep in my heart...I'll never obtain peace of heart, either..."

sorry to everyone i havent been on, my computer is still spaz

you get to the plain from any planet

the plain is like a wide open area, a few hills, mostly grass, but all the gate appear here in a large circle, but kinda spread out, the Unilt gate is far off in a high mountain by itself

im also skipping myself forward to make up for lost time, im already in the plain


Kari had found it, "the Plain". Its old oak door was rough beneath her finger tips, as if it was worn over time from use. She held her key tightly as it illuminated the night, a pale red light shining thru the thickness. "here goes nothing," she whispered to herself as she set the key into the brass lock, turning it deftly. There was a quiet 'click' and a brilliant light overcame her as she walked forward through the gate.

When her eyes finally opened, all she saw was light. Slowly, her eyes adjusted until she could see it, the Plain. It was a vast space, full of grass and meadows, rolling hills in her view. The sun shone brilliantly over head, all three of them. She stood there for what seemed like forever until she was brought back to reality when she heard the soft click of the door shutting behind her. "this is really it," she wondered to herself, her eyes bright.
