I bought this along with Mass Effect (sale) on steam a few days ago because i like biowares games and that's a total of 25gb of downloading at 150kb/s on steam so i have to make the most of my off peak free download times as my cap is 10gb a month lol (yay for shitty aus internet!)

I'll be able to play it some time tomorrow hopefully. If this game is anything like NWN i will be very happy!

There are mod forums popping up everywhere and here is one I think will be good later on.

Someone is already making new content which will continue the story 100 years later. There will also be another content which has more races like half elf and more classes. They will also add in an aging system like fable.

should be lots and lots of content with the tool set being readily available, you could even consider making something yourself! i don't believe it's too hard.

did anyone get the dlc? bit rubbish i think, 1 new char that takes about 20mins to get. a few items that aren't really that great, but then i guess it would be silly to give you something stupidly overpowered... buts still and wardens keep only lasted about an hour or so.

anyone playing a mage as their main? that's def gonna be my next char. so many cool spell combos. thinking about going 1 tank 3 mage on nightmare for next play through.

I think all copies of dragon age come with Shale, actually. At least, according to their general forums.

There needs to be a mod that lets you turn off helmets. Alistair looks like a 1940's Footballer with his stupid helmet, and I look really dumb kissing him with the Blood Dragon Helm on.

Helmets automatically turn off during cutscenes and conversations for me.

I made a mage, Arcane Warrior / Spirit Healer. I consider my character an immortal (OP as hell). Now, before the whole Arcane Warrior thing, there was so many spells to cast, it DOES get confusing. Arrange the action bar correctly, or you will be squished.

Its incredible fun though, I even made a second mage, who will be a Blood Mage. So many character combination's...must have them all.

Actually, I heard Shale was only available for those who Pre-Ordered or Purchased the game on the first day (Via Steam I believe)

you can get shale via the stone prisoner dlc. go to the yellow caravan on your world map.

All copies of PS3 and X360 Dragon Age come with a one time use code for Shale and the Blood Dragon armor. I got mine 2 days after it came out and still had a working code.

Shale is epic, btw.

Ah, I didn't know.

I didn't like Shale.

I did enjoy how versatile he was though. I mean he could be an "Archer" "Tank" or "Melee DPS"

Arcane Warrior/Wynne/Liliana/Morrigan is all you need to own faces.
