okay so i did an experiment with my current computer and i overclocked my computer with clockgen however i can't overclock with bios.... my bios is a phoenix award bios and my computer was premade is it because that my bios is locked or am i just retarded T.T

Bios is locked. Some brands like MSI don't lock the BIOS, but if you bought an American brand, like HP, they lock BIOS.

got an Acer that was premade and right now i used clockgen to oc 2.00 GHZ from 1.81ghz whats the max speed i could probably get without killing it on stock fan? processor is amd sempron 3200+

With a few simple add ons, I'd say 2.5ghz, IF YOU'RE LUCKY. Just get a cheap desk fan, remove the side panel and blow the hardware. Also, I read that the max temp for it is 55C, so check your temp and post it here.

I've heard a few IT tutors say BIOS' are unlockable, can't remember how though.

take out the cmos battery for a few seconds and put it back in. it will cause the bios to flash, also getting rid of the password.

to lazy ill just oc through clockgen everytime i get on lol.... but back on the topic on my temperature...

Temp1:-117C
Temp2:44C
Temp3:25C
Local:40C
Remote:40C
HD0:44C
HD1: 39C
Core: 40C

Used around 25-40%of cpu process highest temp i saw was like 45C and currently im overclocked at 2.00 GHZ from 1.81GHZ

I wouldn't overclock much more then. With 40C on speedfan, your temp is variable + 5C. So I'm going to assume the worst, and at 45C, you're 10C away from reaching the max temp for your CPU.
