Hollllyyy shit. Currently replaying American McGee's Alice while waiting for this
Info: -The game will be a story driven action/adventure game just like the original and NOT an RPG. -There is no official word on whether or not the Alice sequel will have a multi-player option, but McGee says that he doesn't feel that the world or characters are really suited for it. -They are trying a new Wonderland spin on weapons, doing something different from the 'toys as weapons' approach. -The only released picture for the game, seen here, was drawn by Ken Wong and 'cleaned up' by “Nako”. 'The Return of American McGee's Alice' is indeed going to be a sequel, not a remake. The sequel will be released for the PC, PS3, and Xbox360. This means that even those with less than ideal computers will still be able to play the game. There are no plans to release the game on the Wii, despite McGee himself confessing to being a Wii fan. There are also no current plans to re-release the original Alice, though it has been stated as being a 'good idea'. The Return of Alice will be the only project American McGee will be working on (though not the only one his studio will be working on) and has been promised to 'not be rushed'. Sure, this means that there's no release date yet, but wouldn't you prefer an awesome game later over a disappointing sequel now? For those of you who have heard that it will be released later this year, that was a typo. It has been confirmed by McGee himself as not being true.

Indeed, I think the premise to this game is that she was having a relapse during the first game or something. But he is quoted on saying that they'll be taking their time with this sequel to ensure that it isn't another fight boss, fight another boss, crappy fmv, roll credits. So that's something to look forward to.
