Why is everyone so dissapoint?
The game is actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I -was- boycotting it, but it turns out they added alot more than I thought, and I only got a taste of the demo. And yeah -- why be so disappointed? /facepalm. It's -ONLY- the demo, there might be alot more when the full game is released. I think I've seen enough to get me convinced to get the game. I also have tough decisions when having to grab my own health pack in Expert Campaign, or the Defribillator. The melee system may appear useless, but it's actually more OP than it looks. With the pan, you can one hit a charger in the head and make it fly back several feet, and battle through a horde with it. There's boomer bile, which is quite inventive as you use it as a counter-boom to distract the horde while you've been boomed. (Although at first I thought it was a biological bomb that melted common infected) the riot infected aren't strong, but they are quite the distraction. Mudmen are incredibly hard to combat, as you can't really see them as well. The Jockey however, is pretty bad. Sure, it has it's uses, but it's pretty damn hard to use it without other infected. The charger? Jesus christ, so much fun. In a large map, you literally hit one infected and he's pretty much 100 feet away from survivors. You can slam survivors afterwards against the ceiling (if it's a low ceiling), the wall, and the floor. The witch is a little bit more harder to combat, as she can ambush you since you walk, smoker has been nicely redone, Hunter hasn't really changed except you can see his disgusting feet... Overall, I'm satisfied with the demo. I can't wait till the full product. |
