I went to see this with my girlfriend a week before halloween, it wasn't that creepy cause im as bugged by paranormal stuff, it did make the hairs raise on the back of my neck at times.

as for her, she had her eyes closed for most of the movies, and screamed on some parts, like when the ghost or what ever threw the dude.

Overall its a good movie.

Worst movie I have seen in about 3 years since I walked out of "The Marine" or something like that. I was on my phone looking at the time for the first hour because it was so crappy. The movie isn't creepy at all, the end is "scary" but my friend who backhanded another friend of mine TWO times while watching the Ring wasn't even that scared... Not worth the money

movie was terrible, i am a fan of horror movies and i hate how they tried to make it real.. crappy ending, crappy plot and the fact they tried to make a fake movie look real .. made it worse

The END you think is sorta scary is the most retarded thing ever. Her face getting distorted is over the line. Everything is legit, and real life like til then. The pirated version online has the non theater ending. And imo, is waaay better then that demon face bullshiz.

They tried to capture what it would really be like. And imo, they did a perfect job. Movies like this and the Blair Witch are amazing, and will always be favorites to many out there. Including me.

These movies leave a lot for you to decide, and if you dont believe in this type of thing, i guess you wont like it. But if you have had some sort of experience yourself with hauntings, or anything paranormal related. You allow this movie to be amazing.

So its not the movies fault, its the persons.

The only movie to really scare me was The Blair Witch Project. I'm not sure why, it just seemed so real.

Haha, well "The Blair Witch Project" is often compared to "Paranormal Activity", but from what I've heard this movie is scarier. Well, it has to be, considering people's reactions to it.

While i agree with part of this, the part of PA being bad is pretty outside to me.

The chills i got from seeing the 3-toed footprints come into the room, the heavy breathing.

Creepy is creepy. And PA has it.

If you didnt watch it in theaters, and watched the bootleg version, you missed a ton of stuff due to quality. ~
