Graphic cards also have processors and those are what determine your FPS. Ram is important too, but not as much as your GPU itself.

This download didn't work. I ran it and it said "The NVIDIA Setup Program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current software. Setup will now exit."

EDIT: And also, my laptop meets all of the minimum requirements.

Minimum does not mean it will be enjoyable, it could run at a mere 4fps on minimum.

Is your laptop by chance a dell laptop? They have a driver section on their website, so you might want to look there.

I'll have to wait until I have enough money for the 360 version then. I doubt I can return my copy of the game because I took it out of the plastic and everything...

EDIT: Does the fact that I have it installed on an external harddrive make a difference?

woah, bad decision it's bad, the best advice you can get for the next time it's that, if you don't know anything about a PC or gaming on a PC (since you don't know what a Quadro FX is and how old it is and how it simply doesn't meet the minimun game requirements), just don't buy any game at all and get it for console, it's easier that way

no it doesn't, drivers are related to the operating system, not the game itself, you can't run Dragon age: origins on that setup, period, not much to discuss there
