A hardware upgrade is a nice thing. Now the Wii simply needs a gameplay overhaul and it might get decent.

Yeah its actually a rumour. Its not confirmed, however many other sites are stating the new Wii for 2010.

Oh, in that case I would consider this a legit rumor; usually whatever comes out of Patcher's mouth smells of bull crap.

No one cares if the Wii is in HD or not. People leave it to gather dust due to a pretty dire games catalogue made up mostly of half-hearted PS2 ports with tacked on Wiimote waving.
