As it stands, the lasers are not supposed to come into the USA. However, the government RARELY catches them, as its not really their main concern. They do catch a box of them once in a while, but they rarely even check the package.

You can ship 5mw and under lasers to the USA, but they aren't anything very special :/

The real problem is, that DX uses Paypal as its payment service. DX couldn't care less about sending lasers to the US, and the government isn't REALLY that worried about it...Paypal just has a problem with breaking the law. The ban on shipping them to the US has to do with Paypal, not DX really.
