You could not be more wrong. Makes me wonder if you've even played WoW. I've been played since vanilla WoW. There have been no significant drop in players. You seem like one of those people who seriously have no idea what he's talking about. You talk about WoW in its old days, but you completely missed the elements that made original WoW great. In fact, you seem to be against them. So what exactly do you miss about WoW at its "best"? The game is not in its top form, I agree. Yet, it is in no way getting old, repetitive, or boring. Please don't quote what you read from google and jump on the hatewagon without being properly informed.

I think you made a post on the forums about having 22k hp and being denied groups... lol. Seriously, if you are 22k HP at level 80 just starting out... you don't need to be tanking. My paladin had 18k when he turned 80 as a DPS. Saronite armor does wonders. Yeah, at the beginning of wrath it wasn't a big deal.. but now everyone knows everything about the game. Grab saronite armor, do a few normals.. find a guild that farms heroics, most guilds are glad to get someone new up and running. If you are a death knight, then that gives even more of a reason for noone to invite you. DK tanks are absolute garbage after the mountains of nerfs they've been given lately. |

It really doesn't matter at this point. When Cataclysm comes out with the release of negrow (worgen) and goblins, including the Maelstrom being opened, AND Azeroth is going to be torched, players will be coming back to this game. It happens all the time. BC came out, tons of players (best expansion yet imo). Then later on when Sunwell patch came out, there weren't that many players because many took breaks. Lich King comes out, a ton of players came back.
Right now, with Aion out and Allods coming out in a couple of days, the numbers will drop, but not enough to cause problems or to leave the WOW community in a state of panic. Once Cataclysm is out, Aions numbers will be dropping heavily. |
