actualy yes you can in todays world

"The world of today" does no refer to the world of science.

Edit: My initial post was an explanation why "String Theory" is more than just a guess and why the word "Theory" is not equivalent to "guess" in that context.

So, what experience do you have from the scientists of today? I am enrolled in a technological university studying mainly physics and mathematics, what do you base your "knowledge" on?
