It may seem like it but if you went and tested it you can easily compare it for yourself.

I have tested it. I currently play MS and Latale so i have a fresh idea of what the exp rates are on both games.
Straight grind on monsters on Latale, (my level 54 character) is about .04 -.09% depending on the monster. Per kill that is much higher than MS. However, you spend more time killing monsters on Latale than you do on MS. a single kill on MS for monsters in the 50's gives at best .02 exp, but most classes can kill monsters in a single hit if not two within a second or two of monsters appearing on the map. It takes longer to kill monsters on Latale but you get more exp and likewise you get less exp per kill on MS but you can kill monsters faster. when you look at the overall time it would take to level a character solo with
straight grind in the 50's on Latale and MS, LaTale would win but not by that much. However like it's been said already, quests give a large amount of exp on LT so you level a lot faster than you do on MS.
