I want to play a futuristic style fps, anyone have any recommendations and please no shitty unreal/quake type game's i cannot stand them, something with slowerpaced/tactical gameplay would be ideal.

NOT S4LEAGUE (already have)
NOT NEOTOKYO (It's shit)

Tribes 2 is free, futuristic, and not one of the two games you've mentioned.

So much damn fun, however there isn't much American servers. I wonder why.

The best gametype imo is ica (Instagib Clan Wars, not really clan but it's elimination.) on the bipbeta2 map.

The game is nicely done, cell-shaded, and on a low end card you can run it at 200 fps. It's a little bit difficult.

What makes the game intensely unique is the bunny hopping, wall jumping, and dashing. You can go superbly fast, and it's fun. Sometimes I don't even bother shooting at people, I just like to go super fast.

Here's a nicely done frag video, showing the intense fast paced combat of Warsow. Might have to fastforward it sometimes though, the author uses too much damn slow motion.

I also forgot to mention -- in the videos the models don't look that ugly. Some people just choose to edit their models (not a hack, a default setting) and fullbright them so that they're easier to see.
