Have you ever wondered what level Ash's Pikachu is by now?

Lets think about this. He has been through countless journeys through the movies, gyms and Pokemon leagues. By now he must atleast have a very high level Pikachu. Him and His Pikachu is obviously very close. But what level is his pikachu right now?

I think it avers up and down based on dramatic convenience.

I'm going to be nice and say his pikachu is max level by now..
He is strong, and 90% of the people he meets have maxed out pokemon almost.
So, yaeh..

I thought we all knew every time to he goes to the next region his pokemon reset. And by the end of the series his Pikachu is level 99. Then resets again.
This is what I always thought. And when Pikachu is the underdog, he levels and owns it up.

If you noticed, they never tell you anything about level in the show.

"Whoa your [Insert Pokemon] evolved! He really loves you!"

They never tell you the level.

(But since that is off-topic kind of, I'll say 100)

I just say Ash forgets to say his data every episode :T.

Really his pikachu gets its *** kicked EVERY new season, so probably like.. 40? maybe 60 or so.

Actually I think everyone has had this thought about its level. I personally think that since Ash Ketchem is overly sensitive that Pikachu has suffered and thus is still level 20.

I think it goes like this:
Every gym battle, Pikachu gains 1 level. And every other major battle, he gains 0.5 level. Also, every time Pikachu loses, it's minus 0.5 level. So basically each season he gains about 10 levels. And pokemon right now has like what, 6 or 7 seasons, I don't really know. So Pikachu is level 60-70.
