What kind of toons have you guys made and how have you distributed stats? I've been playing so many hand-holding MMOs that I forgot how to distribute stuff

So far I've tried a Rogue briefly and am now working on a Sword & Board Warrior. Unfortunately I must be doing something wrong because I'm always the first to die...

Been playing as a mage, my stuff is all over the place.

Kinda messed up, however, I still do 60% of the party's total damage.

Shape Shifting seems terribly useless so far.

I have like 4 of my talent points left over cause i havent gotten the reaver specialty unlocked yet, so i refuse to put those in any

Level 12 Duelist, cannot post though because I play on the 360.
I realized that prior to getting Wynee or whatever her name is, it was very difficult for Alastair to live, but now that I have a real healer it is much much easier.

level 6 Warrior, I was a level 14 Duelist, had to restart. lovin the game.

I was playing around with the toolset, I guess I played with the modules for singleplayer, couldn't level up, couldn't recruit anyone in my party, I couldn't create a new game, It would say (Unable to load Modules). Anyway. Decided to just restart. completely wipe everything start over.
