I know people who got to lv.50 in 2-3 days. There is also someone with the name "Grindtastic" who got to lv.100 in 2 weeks. Yes, no life. But still.... its very very fast if you got cash, time and know what your doing.

About the Maple Vs Latale debate. Its getting old. But remember what we got right now is not even 50% of Latale. I played maple till 138, so I got a understanding of the game. The exp rates are not even close! Latale is not a little faster but alot faster! Personally, I like Latale alot more, cant wait for PvP.
The same can be said about MS, with the right gear and exp boosts, leveling is also pretty fast. Two of my friends got to level 100+ and 90+ just from the 2xp event alone, in the new global server recently and they started from scratch. Leveling on either game is slow or fast depending on the player, it's just easier on LaTale. My point was never, "it's faster leveling on ___ than ___ with the right knowledge, gear or cash" but "___ and ___ have similar straight grind leveling rates". That's all, I'm just looking at it from a statistical point of view and not personal.

people's opinions of LaTale vary anyway lol; Some of the members here who were hyping up the KR version so much are some of the same people who claimed that they wouldn't play the English version because the rates were too low.

Here's something else to take note of though,

"Q: What is the max level in this game? is it more or less grindy than maple?
A: The max level is lv.200 but nobody has reached there yet, it is of course less grindy than maplestory. with the quests available you'll reach Lv.120 in less than two months, but it really depends on how long you play the game per day."

That was taken from the big mega post made by Ceres, one of those people that I mentioned that said she wouldn't play the english version of latale because the rates were low.

"yugioh korean latale highest player is only 183 >.<
If i am not wrong the highest lv monster map is hayabusa castle aka owl castle :P hard to uz GRIND all the way to 183 so i doubt 3rd jo is on the way for korean or jap latale Let alone OGP latale >.>"

That was taken from the ogplanet forums dec 03, 2008. So tell me, How is LaTale less grindy than MS when people in the JP version with more content, and I believe higher rates, are unable to reach the cap and currently if you take a look at the global version of MS you'll find a good number of people who are all 200 and more in the 190's? there were people who were level 200 way before 4th jobs were even out in MS.

The real problem is the degenerating exp system that latale uses; Leveling up decreases the amount of exp you get from monsters lower than your level. After a while you get less exp from the monsters you kill till it's hardly anything at all. MS using a "stable" exp system in which monsters have set experience values that never change.
