Does anyone else watch this? It involves a high tech "Academy City" and the population comprises of 80% of students. So far it's looking awesome, great art style and all.

Oh, forgot about the main series, this one is just a anime adapated version of the manga side-story of To Aru Majutsu no Index. This one just began its anime adaptation on October 3, 2009.

The wiki lists the side story as

The story tells of the events before and during the time of the novels from a different perspective from the main character, Mikoto Misaka and her friends. this 1 is a original and railgun is side story ... i think ... and also u should add comedy to genres ... Genres: Action, Comedy, SciFi, Seinen, Super Power

This anime sucks I was excited when I first saw it as it kept going the more awful. But of course a side story can't compare to the main one.
