Launch of the MMO is still about two years off and at this time, their first patch for Torchlight the single player game is coming up. Player modding tools are about to be released and it’s full-steam ahead for the MMO. Torchlight is available via download only. At a price-point of $19.95, it has been a “I’ll try it” among my gaming buddies and a couple of programmer friends are already drooling at the prospect of the Modding tools. As for me, I played Diablo II and am loving my doggie pet Phydeaux in Torchlight. There are no plans at this time to bring a multi-player aspect to the current Torchlight game, but who knows what developments will come in the future as Runic preps the game for the MMO?

Some players are trying to mod it so it can have people join.

There patch is already out and there Editor is out on Monday :V and they already have a slightly working Online mod so

so whats the sad news? =p that the mmo would come about 2 year later was known last year already.

i just dont know if they should make it a mmorpg. i'd prefer Co-op like mythos used to be at the beginning, when they tried to make that a mmo it went downway.

hey, anyone know if there is any flawless fish like in fate? to permanent transform my pet into something else?
or unique equip drops from fishing?

i havent fished very long yet cause its kinda boring lol, getting all these crappy fish

If you catch a "GIANT" fish then that will make your pet permanently w/e that fish transforms them into, the only type of fish that doesn't have a perm fish is the one used for the troll.

cool thanks, do i need to be on a specific floor level to get more chance on these giant fishies or can u even get them from town?

The only fish you get in town either transforms them into dog or a cat. The easier way of changing the pet is to download some mods. Theres a few websites which have them like torchlit and the runic forums.
