Martial arts doesn't matter, spirit bombs don't matter.

Superman had bathed in suns, from which Goku GETS the energy for that attack.

Again, doesn't work. Superman would win, end of story.

Alternatively, Superman can fly back in time, interrupt his pod and throw it into the nearest star. Goku can't time travel due to speed, so clearly Superman is faster.

Goku takes about a million years to even charge a spirit bomb; Superman will kill him in the time it takes.

There's no way for Goku to win.

Gotta point out that in the end his power level is probably over nine thousand billions :S He's even stronger than ''god'' can't remember how that weirdo is called...

Anyway, can superman destroy the whole solar system in less than a second ? And even without his teleportation thing, he moves much faster than the human eye can see... also, if I'm not wrong, Superman has to breathe, so if Goku destroys the earth, bye bye superman and goku just has to go on planet Namek...

And comon at his current power level goku could kill Radditz by farting :S

Also I doubt he would have to use a spirit bomb against superman, one single kamehameha would be enough :S I must say Superman is badass but he's nothing compaired to Goku. Also the reason it took him time to charge up the spirit bomb was because he used the energy of other people to make it...

I keep on believing superman's strongest punch will do nothing to Goku, I think Frieza is stronger than superman and he got beat long long ago :S

You are wrong, Superman doesn't need to breathe in space. He doesn't need to breathe period.

Wrong again. That beam would do nothing to Superman, considering what Superman has taken in fights before.

Superman has been at ground zero of a nuclear explosion and been unharmed. He's taken the Omega Beams and shrugged it off.

You're wrong again. Frieza got mix-and-matched, then he got cut up by a sword. If you tried cutting Superman, he'd laugh.

Look, this debate always throws up some laughs, it does, but if we're going to have it then at least try to realise that knowing about Goku isn't enough. If you don't know the extent of Superman's powers, don't speak about them.

Nothing Goku could do would harm Superman, fact. He's not faster, he's not stronger, he's not more durable.
