I know this is primarily a PC/Laptop problem forum, but I thought i'd give it a shot.
I have a 42-inch Panasonic Viera TV. Everytime I turn it on, it has 4 verticle, multi-coloured bands in the middle of the screen. The colours range from pink to blue lines, but it is mostly white. The lines aren't static, they're constantly moving, not all of them it seems, but it just seems like they're changing in contrast, appearing to move. Anyway, I'm pretty much certain I'm going to have to take this to a repair shop, but does anybody have any info on this problem? Any idea of how much it'll roughly cost? I don't mind forking out £150 for it, as I didn't buy it, it was just left here by a friend like 2 years ago, and now he doesn't want it (It's not under warranty btw). But if it's something astronomical like £300/400, then I think i'll just put it back in it's corner. |

Sounds to me like the cable you use is damaged.
I have no clue on the price though, as I didn't have to pay for repair costs so far.
