It has a steep learning curve and theres no tutorial yet.. You should do some info lookups yourself if you play it. In the hon forums theres a guide for every hero. The thing is ophelia can dominate creeps and most games just stays in the jungle for the start of the game, with some gangs etc. Thats why they laughed at you :P

just watch a video of HoN after playing LoL and you'll be like "wow i'm an idiot"

LoL is clunky, terrible sound fx, slow gameplay, boring hero's, cartoon graphics, imbalanced matchmaking, talent tree and rune system give perks for people who play longer than you..

if you can't accept grief then you shouldn't really play any type of "e-sport" game

Well.. As I did mention, it's not the easiest game to begin playing. You need to know the basics of last hitting and game philosophy. You'll learn the heroes while playing. If you're not willing to study anything I doubt you'll enjoy LoL any more than you did HoN. You'll just quickly get frustrated when people who know something pwn ur ***.

TLDR: If you don't want to read and study the basics you shouldn't play any of the games in question.

My answers in bold, in short you dedicated as much time to learn LoL as I dedicated time to learning japanese - none at all. Stop spreading misinformation and putting personal opinions as facts.

OP: you'll need some patience for both games. Both game forums have some excellent guides for you to read, study and apply in game. Also if you want to have a much better time playing LoL and HoN I suggest you to find some cool people to play with. Simply talking to them and adding them to your friendslist is a great way to make your gaming experience much better. And play some practice games in LoL (don't know the name of those in HoN please do tell) to familiarize yourself with the shop, UI, controls and other stuff before going into a game.

guess what, i just had another match (my second one)
and i managed to deny about 90% of the time (and of course last hitting creeps) and i pretty much dominated all enemy heroes.(i've had 2 rage quitters in my team, but i didn't care)with moon queen and i did not have to laugh at anyone.
gfx-wise the game looks really nice, but i don't feel like playing with a bunch of a$$holes that take this game too seriously.
dling LoL atm, hoping for more mature community.

is it jsut me, or do range characters seem ridiculous at times?
they just stand the **** out there next to their tower, you just have to run cause the tower will rape you...same thing in hon, cept they dealt a good amount damage by themselves.

in LoL, the tower is a little bit more passive toward heroes. if you don't target the opponent heroes, the tower won't attack you. you can freely attack creeps or the tower without getting hit by it ( assuming you still have your creeps around the tower )

and can we stop with the LoL vs HoN debate ?? seriously ?? it's an endless and pointless debate. some people prefer LoL, some people prefer HoN. simple as that.

as for the competitiveness, both games still pretty unknown at this point.
HoN still in CB and LoL still in pre-season. both games are made for people to compete. that's it.

if you want to talk about HoN, please go make your own damn thread.
everytime someone made LoL thread, there's always some HoN fanboys bashing on it.. seriously it's getting annoying.

anyway.. anyone who plays LoL, add my IGN: djudjud14. i'm on US LoL.
