This is hardly a expansion or DLC

5 campaigns
4 new chars
3 new special infected
A bunch of new weapons
Melee weapons
Updated gore
Couple new game modes.

There is more content here then in the original l4d, with the amount of work needed to create said content, they'd release it as add on content packs, most likely at a higher cost then the stand alone game would be.

It being a DLC for L4D1, wouldn't really fit for it's setting.

I saw someone playing the demo on YouTube and I thought "I swear there wasn't a machete there when I played it.".

Does anyone know if this is a system exclusive weapon or something?

Additionally, demo effing rules. Though I do hate how the characters narrate EVERYTHING.

"Getting a shot.", "Ammo here.", "Molotovs here." etc. It seems way more frequent.

That's what almost all my teams were like when I played it online on the 360.

Watched the Gametrailers review, not too sure if I want to spend 60 dollars for basically the same game with a few extras. I'm sure I'd be hooked again for a month or so like L4D1, but then after that month I never touched the game again.

Left 4 Dead is not a true pun, but more of a play on words. A pun is generally a play on words, but based on something, at least by my definition.

Go play on PC, I never have a problem with being left to die, unless I tell them to finish instead.

There's a machete in the demo and in the official game for PC.
Just took about 2 hours to finish Swamp Fever on Advanced, we had 1 tank on the finale and then 2 more at the same time

We died plenty of times and just tried doing Hard Rain, epic phailed.

Games definitely much much harder, but then again, it could just be cause most of us don't know the tricks of the trade to the new maps yet.
