I got the ATI HD 4770 for pretty cheap. It is in your budget and it runs great, I would definitely recommend it.

Gameplay:

ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.


I can play lots of games on high settings with good FPS. I play Crysis on high too.

That videocard is crap now lol, hes better off getting a 5750. which totally kills it, and around the same price.


edit:well they was around the same price, i dunno what happened the 5xxx series had a price rocket in the last month, eh.

oh and grid is a stupid-easy game to run, should put up crysis or something else like Farcry as a benchmark

A 4770 is about 10-20% faster than a 9800 GT, and funny enough in its same price range. You're better off getting a 5750, which has much more performance over both of them and are in the same price range, also offers DX 11, and MUCH lower power consumption, i believe they only use 1 6 pin, with max power draws of around 108ish.

Sparkle is a horrible brand, personal experience several times.

I don`t think he can get the 5750 as earlier Zormax said 144 was too much, in Canada the 5750 is $150 before taxes.

4770 is like £70 as is the 9800
5750 is like £120 :S

Sparkle 9800 is only one around the 100 bucks range
