Now i understand that they have some pretty good technology( even though half of it 'works as intended'), how good is their army when it comes to training and weaponry? ive alway wondered this.

When your country has that many people, you don't necessarily need awesome training. ie. Russia in WWII

i assume powerful. although if it comes down to hand to hand combat, all america would really need is shin guards to protect themselves. lawlz.

My history teacher once told me that other countries' training regimes, disciplines and weaponry weren't good as America's.

Sure, China, Russia and all those other serious countries might put their soldiers through a lot of discipline but that doesn't mean they would come out to be a good soldier. American and British soldiers get the proper training needed.

As far as weaponry goes, we have those secret nukes. Remember what we pulled on Japan in WWII? We told them if they didn't get out the freaking war, they'd get bombed. And like that, *snap*, we nuked them. If China were to pull something stupid on us,their fate will be sealed.

eh their training and weaponry is sub-par compared to u.s and other industrialized nations but what they lack in that they make up for in numbers. You could say they are mostly zealots (thought instead of being zealous for god/religion it is for china and its people)

so ya numbers and fanatical thinking..they would and will be a problem when the inevitable war comes.(unless econimcal ties keep the warmongering at bay..everyone loves money!)

edit: jakuza read on on nuclear treaties...if we drop one every nation on this planet becomes our enemy....not to mention if we launch a second one defence counter messures would be taken by every other country...most of it not all of our nukes would never touch the ground..then we have to deal with fighting a conventional war against china/japan/europe and of course russia would love to get in on that action (just to name a few of the big guys)

of course we could fly the bombs over but when the oly friendly air space is the air space over you country (in the opening couple of months of the war) getting that plane through stealth or not would be next to impossible.
