The "I'll pirate it to see if I like it and if I do I'll buy it" argument is so silly. Do you honestly expect people do believe you're going to pirate the WHOLE GAME and if you like it you'll buy the EXACT SAME THING you already have?

Then of course theres always the issue of downloading a huge file from bittorrent and the possibility of getting caught.

Noone said that they "expect" everyone that downloads a game to buy it if they like it. However, you are naive if you think that there are no people who actually buy the music/game/movie if they like it for the sake of supporting or simply just owning a physical copy.

Paul knows his stuff.
He knows that the music company is ripping people off.
A cd album should be like 2$.

This is why I do it.

Why purchase Spore and deal with it's annoying limited activation system, (Like your Sacred 2 example) or just download it and not have to worry about any of it?

Never watched the Paul McCartney vid before.

I find that really funny. Funny coming from a guy who shit bricks when Michael Jackson bought the rights to songs by The Beatles, because he knew he'd be losing out on cash. What a hypocrite. Just another confirmation that we lost two of the wrong Beatles.

This is absolutely correct, but my issue lies with the people who will still give their time to that "buggy shit".

You know?

If you'll sit at home playing it, get it. If it's worth time, it's worth money.

They must expect people to believe them, becuse that's their only argument for pirating a game, "I'll "download" it and see if I like it, and if I do I'll buy it."

Why else would they post that besides trying to justify their actions?

Is there a source that justifies your conclusion or are you playing hobby psychologist?

The protections on games don't make sense , because EVERY game that EVER came out HAS been cracked , no protection made the game "safe".
no steam ,secu rom , starforce , or w/e

Developers are spending money on "protection" for the companys that make "protection software" and are hitting their own foot with a hammer.

If developers were not so greedy and games/music was cheaper

more people would buy it - fact
they would have a bigger profit even though the price is cheaper because more people bought it - fact

So, by that logic Brutzer, I should not lock my bike up because bolt cutters exist?

Go watch his interview on it.

He started saying how it was wrong because they were his, and how he trusted Michael. How he felt betrayed that Michael then went and sold Revolution to Nike for a commercial.

Though he complained before Michael even did that.

I don't recall where the interview was, or for what, but if you Google the legal case there should be lots of links to it.
