While it is illegal the reason everyone does it is due to how easy and lack of threat there is.

Anyone who says "i'd buy it if i had the money" is dillusional.

You would still download it if you had money, why? because its easier and cheaper.

The only time someone ever buys a game they pirated is because the pirated version won't have things like, multiplayer, updates, etc or is buggy and doesn't even work correctly.

I buy some games, i pirate some games. Why? Becouse some games arent worth paying for. Theres alot of complete crap games these days that gets hyped, and personally I dont want to spend my time sending stuff back for a refund.

If the game is worth paying for, fair deal.

I guess you can call me delusional. I pirate music mostly, [just one game so far] and that's all and well.

But if I had the money, I would seriously buy the game/cd. I don't know about you, but I like the feel of something physical, I like having CD's and I like having game discs. But the fact of the matter is, I don't have cash. [Money's pretty tight in my house.]

I hate it when piraters try so hard to defend why they pirate make me lol. I pirate but I would never defend myself it makes you look stupid. Just admit your wrong and be done with the situation.

Also - I don't things are priced the way they are because of people pirating. Maybe they won't decrease because of piracy, but I remember buying CD's back in the day. They were the same price as they are today...and that was pre-Napster.

Because I do buy music whenever I can. I feel guilty every time I download, but buying all the music I listen to just isn't an option.

I admit im doing it ilegally and its wrong, but im doing it becuase i save both money and the enviorment. And im not going to stop becuase thats what i have chosen ;3

meh, almost all the stuff I download I end up buying anyway so I don't feel terribly guilty.

Besides, some of the stuff I like is fairly obscure. If I hadn't downloaded it, I would never have known about it.

When the world comes full circle back to the early 1970s and awesome music becomes popular again, then maybe I'll stop downloading so much.

oh wait we're talking about gaming? my pc won't even run new games, so pirating is out of the question, except for old games which are impossible to find in stores anyway (and therefore as far as I'm concerned, I'm entirely justified in pirating them)

also re. environmentally friendly argument, if you're so concerned about the environment you could just play everything on Steam and Gametap and whatever game downloading services there are out there, no?

oh also pirating is useful for when you have a scratched cd or you lose your cd key or something stupid like that.
