But anyway after watching that I think I died a little inside, although I'm confused about the kid's gender, so that brought some of the attention away from the god awful song.

sing a song written by a 15 year old about his experiences in love? no. dont.

get a guitar, play and sing an acoustic version of "havent met you yet", by michael buble! or "everything", also by michael buble.

bonus, if you're asking her to go for homecoming or prom or whatever, sing "save the last dance for me" covered by, you guessed it, michael buble.

and to really make it personal, change the lyrics around a little, so that the song'll be alot more meaningful.
