Default Should "kids" get away with murder?

So, here in Sweden a 16 year old girl was murdered by two kids around her age that were pissed because she had been fooling around with "the wrong guy". They killed her.

They weren't drunk or anything, but they were at the same party and they had been planning it well, and eventually they did it. These kids are going to get institutional care for one year and eight months. That means, that they killed a young girl, she lost her life, and they will only stay at some stupid institution for young criminals, for 20 damn months, and after that they will be free to do whatever they want to do, while that poor girl lost her life because of them.

And they only got 20 months because of their young age.
What do you think?

Here she is:

Also found pictures of the guilty bastards.

Of course not. But I believe her point is that they commited a crime which ended up with a person dying. She lost her whole life and they'll "lose" two years.

It's premeditated murder, they should be hittin' the prison though.

what do you think should happen to them? lock em in a dungeon? they are in an institution were they can possibly get help to stop this from happening again instead of ruining their lives.

I still think that they should stay in there for a lot longer than 20 months.

long bouts of confinement only drive people crazier...would be sorta counterproductive.

Should be more like 20 years, in my opinion.

Well if they dont have the mentality of a child and that of a murderer then no they shouldnt. Of course that doesnt mean that they should go to jail more like a special jail/psych ward prison type thing. (Not juve something diff)

But when your 16, comon you should know better if its just a reason like that -.- bring them to jail

I doubt you would still think so if this happened to your best friend/brother/sister. They ended a poor girl's life, and not just her life, they destroyed so many people's lives by killing her, too.

And they get 20 months.
I think it's insane.
