That depends. If you try to act all cool and close your emotions for the sake of not falling in love and just counting the woman you have been with as scores and not relationships, that is childish. If your sole/main goal with a woman is to get into her pants, you are a boy. Once you take up the responsibility of being there for someone, you are a man. Because it only takes a boy to want to stick his dick into anything.

It takes a man to care about someone. Having true feelings for them, caring about them, thinking about them, being at their side in the time of need... Going into a relationship not thinking you will find love is ok. But if you are going into it with the thoughts "She is hot! Ima hit some of this!" you are treating it as a game, thus being a boy. I can't really explain this.

Honestly I think no one can really understand it until the time comes for them to grow up. But hey, you're 21. Just because you hit the age to become an adult in your community does not mean you are yet a man. You do not become a man just because the law says so, you must earn that title yourself for when the time comes. Most people hit that change where they are in their mid-late 20s.

I know I was still a boy when I was your age. But heck, 18-25 is the best age to be a boy and there is nothing wrong with that. I say hit that, party hard and live. It wont be long until all of that is gone... And then you wont be able to experience it the same ever again.
